A Clash of Ideologies A conversation between Bernard Lewis, Eqbal Ahmad, and myself takes buttocks at Ricks Café in Casablanca, Morocco. Dont you[but before he could finish Id already caught Ahmads attention] EQBAL AHMAD: (Unsurprised) Well if it isnt who I think it is. What brings you here Bernard? BERNARD LEWIS: Vacation. Thought Id express away from people harassing me. (Sarcastically) But I guess I was wrong. What are you doing here Eqbal? EQBAL AHMAD: I was supplicateed to lecture at Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech. The lecture actually starts soon. BERNARD LEWIS: Oh yeah? EQBAL AHMAD: Yes.
